Our program is designed to provide a nurturing environment where children can explore, create, and learn through Spanish and art immersion. We are dedicated to fostering a love for learning and creativity in every child.

About me ​
My name is Marsha Almodovar. I have lived in Asheville for about 16 years I'm a mother, and painter and have had a career in education and nonprofits. I was awarded the 2023 Tzedek Impact Social Justice award Which is given to people in community service in Asheville. I used the award funds to illustrate, write, and publish a Spanish-language child book. It's been a dream of mine to do that. That process led me to lean into what my true calling is and that is to work with children and launch this Spanish and Art based program.
I have served on numerous boards and commissions that align with my personal mission of art and inclusion within the city of Asheville. I have a deep passion for community

The well-being of our students is our top priority at chiquitospreschoolprogram.com. We maintain high standards of health and safety to ensure a secure and comfortable environment for every child. I am trained to handle emergency situations, and we adhere to strict protocols for cleanliness and hygiene. CPR and First aid Certified by the American Red Cross
